Out of School Hours Activities

Schools should work with local organisations, e.g. leisure centres and local community groups, to offer a wide range of before and after school clubs, including holiday activities:

•      Homework support, catch up classes
•     Arts and creative activities, e.g. dance, drama, music, arts and crafts
•      Sports and recreational and play activities, e.g. football, running
•     Other clubs, such as foreign languages
•      Volunteering activities and community opportunities
•   Visits to museums, galleries and places of interest  

     Check with your child's school for clubs and activities they offer. 

 The Governing Bodies and WSCC do not support or recommend the advice, products or services offered nor the organisations offering them.  Individuals should satisfy themselves on the suitability of any of the advice, products or services and on the nature and standing of these organisations.
